To the Moma- the long way....

Today we headed out and decided to go south toward a few museums. We grabbed lunch at a deli/supermarket that wasn't quiet that easy to get through the narrow aisles. We went into the Museum of Jewish Heritage and really enjoyed the three floors. After we crossed the street and popped into the Skyscraper Museum. It was a small one floor museum that took us about 20 minutes to cover. We grabbed some Starbucks before heading over our friends Nicole and Jay's house. We got to catch up and meet their sweet little baby Noelle. Ordering sushi was perfect and it was so nice to relax around their table with some wine and brewskis. After dinner we headed back toward our hotel. The walk along the Hudson River was beautiful. All in all- an awesome day!

And we're off!!!

Today was the first day of our trip! This morning we drove to Orlando and boarded the plane to New York City! We decided to spend a few days in the Big Apple seeing some friends and cruising the streets before we head off to Dublin on Saturday. The flight went smooth and we took a taxi from the airport to our hotel near the financial district in Manhattan. We had dinner and drinks with our friends Gideon and Cristina at a nice little bar called Ear Inn. It was a long day- more details to come:)
